As you use the app, we store your reading plan enrollments and progress, saved verses, verse highlights and notes, named bookmarks, badge and streak progress, Verse of the Day interactions, theme and translation preferences, and feedback you submit on verse insights (thumbs up/down).

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain the app, save your reading progress and preferences across devices, improve insight and study content quality through aggregated feedback, and send essential account-related communications.

Content Processing

VerseWise Bible processes verse text to provide verse insights, entity summaries, and contextual information. Verse text may be sent to our content processing providers as needed to provide these features. We do not send your personal information to those providers, only the Bible text needed to prepare the requested content.

Optional Support Payments

VerseWise Bible is free with no ads and no subscriptions. The app offers optional one-time support tips processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details – all payment processing is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes. We use standard infrastructure providers (hosting, databases) and Stripe for optional payment processing to operate the service.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords (bcrypt hashing), secure token-based authentication (JWT), and HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.

Your Rights

VerseWise Bible is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
