Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using VerseWise Bible ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

VerseWise Bible is a mobile application that provides Bible reading with verse insights, entity recognition, 21+ guided reading plans, verse highlights and notes, named bookmarks, 60+ achievements, a daily Verse of the Day, and 16 theme moods. The App is available on iOS and Android platforms.

Bible Text

The Bible translations available in VerseWise Bible – King James Version (KJV), World English Bible (WEB), Berean Standard Bible (BSB), American Standard Version (ASV), and New Heart English Bible (NHEB) – are in the public domain. You are free to read, share, and reference these texts without restriction.

Optional Support Payments

VerseWise Bible is free to use with no ads and no subscriptions. The App offers optional one-time support tips to help fund ongoing development. These are voluntary and do not unlock additional features. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Donations are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

Study Content

Verse insights, entity summaries, and contextual information are provided for educational and devotional purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, this content may contain errors or inaccuracies. It should not be considered authoritative biblical scholarship or theological doctrine.

User Accounts

Some features require creating an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, interfere with the App's operation or other users' experience, or use automated systems to access the App in a manner that exceeds reasonable use.

Intellectual Property

The App's design, code, study tools, and original content (excluding public-domain Bible text) are the property of VerseWise Bible. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that study content will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerseWise Bible shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
